Export Destination: Senegal — Compliance Notice
Senegalese customs authorities have actively intercepted and seized shipments of used tires entering the country, citing safety and environmental concerns, alongside strict age limits on used vehicle imports. Before requesting a quote for a Senegal-bound shipment, read the compliance guidance below — and ask our team about new tire alternatives if a used-tire shipment is not advisable for your case.

Every container is pulled from our 300+ stocked sizes across passenger, SUV, performance and commercial truck categories, sorted into three consistent grades.
Grade A Premium
7mm+ tread depth · 80%+ tread remaining
Top-tier matching pairs & sets with high tread life, clean sidewalls and zero structural defects. Ideal for high-margin retail resale.
Grade B Standard
5mm – 6.5mm tread depth · 60%–75% tread remaining
Solid commercial standard with even wear and pressure testing. The most-requested grade for everyday replacement demand.
Grade C Commercial / Export
3.5mm – 4.5mm tread depth · 40%–50% tread remaining
Budget tier designed for high-volume export and economical replacement markets where price-per-unit matters most.
We load a standard 20ft container (roughly 800 tires loose-loaded), a 40ft container (roughly 1,600 tires), or a 40ft High-Cube container using high-density tripling — nesting up to three tires inside one another — to fit up to 2,400 tires and lower your per-unit freight cost. Every container is booked through to Dakar, with a commercial invoice, packing list and bill-of-lading coordination prepared for customs clearance.
Senegalese customs enforcement has actively seized shipments of used tires entering the country, citing safety and environmental hazards, and Senegal separately enforces strict maximum-age limits on imported used vehicles.
This enforcement posture can change, and admissibility, permitted exceptions and required documentation are determined by the Direction Générale des Douanes (Senegalese Customs). Before placing an order, confirm current risk and requirements directly with Senegalese Customs or your licensed transitaire (customs broker).
BulkUsedTires.com cannot guarantee that a used-tire shipment will clear Senegalese customs without seizure. Ask our team about our New Tire Loads program as an alternative way to supply the Senegalese market.
It carries meaningful risk. Senegalese customs enforcement has actively seized shipments of used tires at the border, citing safety and environmental concerns. Confirm current risk and requirements with Senegalese Customs or a licensed transitaire before ordering.
Yes — reported enforcement actions have seized tens of tonnes of used tires destined for Senegal, confirming this is an actively enforced restriction rather than a theoretical one.
We will not knowingly ship a container we expect to be seized at Senegalese customs. If you hold current guidance from a licensed Senegalese customs broker confirming admissibility, contact us to discuss it. Otherwise, ask about our New Tire Loads program.
BulkUsedTires.com also supplies new tire loads, which are not subject to the same used-tire enforcement risk. Contact our team to discuss new tire options for the Senegalese market.
The Direction Générale des Douanes (Senegalese Customs) and a licensed transitaire are the authoritative sources for current enforcement posture and required documentation. Rules and enforcement can change, so confirm before you order, not after your container ships.
